With a background in the built environment, particularly industrial heritage, museums, project work and engagement, Kim has worked across sectors to support engagement, amplify youth and community voices, and turn ambitious ideas into practical delivery. As a Former Director of a Cannington Shaw Preservation Trust CIC, and an experienced Project Officer at PLACED, she thrives in coordinating complex projects, bringing together multiple stakeholders, priorities, and perspectives to deliver meaningful, well-managed outcomes.
She has spent years within the sector, where her experience spans museums, curating, visitor experience, community and youth engagement, youth programmes, administration, business operations and stakeholder relationships. She's worked across a huge variety of transport, placemaking, planning and architectural projects.
She's motivated by collaboration and coordination, connecting people and places and amplifying voices, ensuring everyone has a say in changes happening in their area. Her interests include regeneration, heritage, sustainability, GIS and making better places.
