We work with organisations that want to engage communities in a meaningful way. If you're looking for support with delivering creative, inclusive engagement or want to bring fresh perspectives into your projects, we can help. Our team brings together expertise in education, facilitation and the built environment, grounded in lived experience and local knowledge. We’re also growing our PLACED Academy programme, and we’re looking for sponsors to help us expand its reach. Your support allows us to work with more young people, deliver more workshops, and create opportunities for those underrepresented in the built environment.

If you're passionate about people and place, you can also give your time. Our PLACED Ambassadors volunteer just two days a year to support our work, from co-facilitating workshops to mentoring students. You’ll be joining a network of over 150 people, from students to senior professionals, all sharing their skills and experiences to inspire the next generation.

PLACED Academy

Our award-winning, free-to-access programmes support young people to shape the places around them. Launched in 2019, PLACED Academy introduces young people to the built environment through creativity, collaboration, and real-world projects. Open to ages 11 and up from across the North West, the Academy builds confidence, develops practical and creative skills, and opens up new career paths - whether in design, planning, community engagement, or beyond. Participants work alongside professionals on live projects, sharing their ideas and influencing the design of real places.
