Bhavadharany is a Freelance Project Assistant at PLACED, with a background in Architecture and Urbanism and previous experience as an Architectural Assistant. She has a growing interest in urban design, community engagement, and the ways people experience and shape the places they live.

Having completed a Master’s in Architecture and Urbanism, Bhavadharany is particularly interested in working with communities and understanding how their experiences and priorities can help shape better places. She was drawn to PLACED’s work because of its focus on listening to communities and understanding what people want to see prioritised in public investment.

Having previously volunteered with PLACED and taken part in its Pathway Student programme, Bhavadharany is now supporting the team as a Freelance Project Assistant. Outside of work, she enjoys travelling and sketching cities and towns, which continues to shape her curiosity about different places and how people experience them.
