RIBA Love Architecture Festival
The RIBA is launching the Love Architecture Festival which will run from June 15-24th. The festival aims to celebrate architecture and the built environment whilst inspiring, informing and exciting people of all ages about the built environment.
Festival activities will celebrate the amazing architecture and the buildings, streets and neighbourhoods all around us. Everyone is welcome to join in the fun through a range of action-packed events for all ages including: walks, bike rides, talks, tours, competitions, exhibitions, films and family events.
There are loads of brilliant events happening all over the country which are being delivered by a wide range of diverse groups and organisations all keen to share their passion for architecture with the wider public. Events give the public and professionals alike a great opportunity to find out more about the built environment, and many events and activities are free.
Events include our Summer Schools which we are working with John Moores University and University of Central Lancashire to deliver, giving 15-18 year olds a taster of careers in the built environment. Workshops are taking place in Liverpool and Preston.
The following are some hands on workshops that all the family can join in on.
